Oxygen Bomb Combustion Test Apparatus

ZR‑YDRSY Oxygen Bomb Combustion Test Apparatus
1. Scope of Application
Also known as halogen determination pre‑treatment device,
the oxygen bomb combustion test apparatus consists of custom‑made oxygen bomb,
pressure reducing valve, oxygen filler and electronic pulse igniter.
It is widely applied in laboratories, scientific research institutes, university labs,
third‑party quality inspection institutions and other entities.
It is used for testing combustible liquids and powder materials, halogen and plastic‑related combustible substances,
as well as analyzing combustion performance and residue status of materials.
It enables quantitative analysis of heavy metals and hazardous halogen elements in electrical plastic products and circuit boards.
It serves as a sample pre‑treatment unit for halogen‑containing waste gas.
Solid or liquid samples are combusted inside the oxygen bomb,
and the combustion gas is absorbed by absorption solution for subsequent ion‑chromatography analysis.
2. Working Principle
In a sealed system, test samples are combusted and oxidatively decomposed under high‑pressure oxygen.
Solid and liquid organic samples are converted into absorbable substances such as chlorides and bromides.
Absorption solution is placed inside the oxygen bomb to capture decomposed halogens.
The obtained solution can be quantitatively tested for halogen and sulfur content via external
standard methods including ion chromatography, ion‑selective electrode method, spectrophotometry or titration.
3. Technical Parameters
1. Power supply: AC 220V, Power: 75 W
2. Oxygen bomb material: 1Cr18Ni9Ti (321 stainless steel); the oxygen bomb complies with MTT 737 standard
3. Oxygen bomb pressure resistance test: 20 MPa
4. Ignition mode: electronic pulse ignition
5. Ignition operating voltage: DC 12 V
6. Working oxygen filling pressure: 0‑3.5 MPa (pressure resistance: 20 MPa)
7. Oxygen bomb volume: ≥ 200 mL
8. Ignition controller: realizes sample ignition control and indicates the status of ignition wire.
If the indicator lamp stays off after ignition wire connection, the ignition wire is poorly connected.
The indicator lamp turns off upon successful ignition.
